From Governance to Enforcement: Comparative Analysis of Financial Regulations in Sport Join leading sports lawyers and accountants from both sides of the Atlantic as they dissect the evolving landscape of financial regulation across three major sporting bodies — UEFA, the NFL and the FIA. Through discussing UEFA’s Financial Sustainability Regulations, the NFL’s salary cap system and the FIA’s cost cap regulations in Formula 1, this panel will explore how different regulatory philosophies, enforcement mechanisms and governance structures shape competitive balance and financial sustainability in professional sport. From the boardroom to the courtroom, we'll examine real-world enforcement challenges and institutional constraints and also consider what comparative insights and lessons can be taken from both the American and European regulatory models.

- All cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to mpomerene@virtualinc.com
- Prior to the 10th of October, 50% of the meeting registration fee will be refunded or full amount can be carried to 2026.
- After the 10th of October, 75% of the registration fee can be carried over to 2026 and 25% of registration fee will be applied to admin fee
- No telephone cancellations will be accepted. It will take a minimum of six (6) weeks to receive a refund.
